The old cat Old Deuteronomy and its affiliates tell us their stories.
Once the cats district Jellicle meet for the annual dance and celebrate the old cat Old Deuteronomy, their leader. In celebration of a Corsican cats will be chosen and will have the honor of ascending into heaven cats Jellicle, the "Heaviside Layer", but before the cats come and tell their story.
Nobody in 1981, the year of the first World music Cats at the New London Theater in London, would have wagered that a musical about the story of a group of cats could be successful. The Teatro degli Arcimboldi remedies to this long absence, finally landing in Milan the Jellicle Cats by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Thomas Stearns Eliot with their stories drawn from the collection of poems Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats Eliot and the same famous pieces of music, including the song Memory, engraved in the last twenty years by more than 150 artists.
